There are some love stories that simply glow in front of the camera, and Kaitlyn and Jason brought exactly that kind of warm, effortless energy to their engagement photoshoot in Copenhagen. From the moment we met, it felt like photographing two old souls who were just meant to be together.

We started our stroll through the pastel streets ar Christiansborg Palace, letting the soft morning light wrap around them. Copenhagen has this quiet charm in the early hours - the city feels like it’s slowly waking up, while the colours stay gentle and dreamy. The perfect setting for something romantic yet relaxed.

There were moments where they forgot the camera was even there - laughing together, holding hands, brushing away the cold breeze. That’s always the best part of photographing couples: catching those tiny in-between moments that say so much more than a pose ever could.

Later, we stopped by the waterside where Copenhagen meets that fresh northern light. The wind danced around Kaitlyn’s hair while Jason pulled her closer… and honestly, that’s what makes sessions like this feel almost cinematic. A little movement, a little atmosphere, and suddenly the photographs breathe with emotion.

One thing I adore about engagement shoots in this city is how versatile Copenhagen is. One minute you’re surrounded by colourful architecture, and the next you’re standing by the sea with soft reflections and open skies. Kaitlyn and Jason embraced every moment, and you can truly see that sense of adventure in their gallery.

This session was all about connection – between each other, and with the city that made their story feel even more magical. Copenhagen gave them a beautiful backdrop. Their love gave the story.
