10 Reasons Traveling Makes You A Better Person

1. Travel teaches you the value of making friends.

I continue to experience and appreciate new cultures. But, when I have to give you suggestion. First, I will always advise you to go and visit my home country.

5. Travel teaches you that we are all the same.

I am going to paraphrase what once my Slovenian friend Tomas said "Look at you body, look at mine, look at theirs. We are all the same, we are all human being."

6. Travel creates unforgettable memories.

When you travel, you are creating a path that is different and memorable. You push yourself to new limits and out of your comfort zone.Traveling is full of so many postcard moments because they are all unique, they are yours and no one else’s.

7. You broaden your perspective.

Nothing changes the way you view your own life experience like seeing the way other people live. Once, I remember, when I asked my polish friend If she wants to travel with me around Balkan. She was so excited but she told me that her mother will not allowed because "countries in Balkan are known as mafia". (What you believe is shaped by what you hear on your local news channel or what your parents taught you.)

8. You learn to live in the moment.

Traveling makes you stop and live in that second, minute and moment. It’s hard to be thinking about something else when you’re half way across the world visiting places you’ve never been to before and seeing spots you’ve only read about.

9. You become more minimalistic.

Material possessions become less important the more you travel. And leaving everythinb behind when it comes to materialistic things which is incredibly liberating and helps keep your life organized, focused, and refreshed.

10. It increases your confidence.

Travelling fosters your independence and ability to take care of yourself, and also to socialize. To not be afraid to travel again and why not alone. That’s something to be confident about.
